- Dr. Armstrong has been awarded a Science Diversity Leadership award from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Math (click the image to learn more) - Dr. Armstrong will be giving a symposium talk at the ASCB-EMBO meeting in December - Miranda and Tancia attended the first workshop sponsored by PAIR-UP and hosted at Vanderbilt University - CONGRATS to Emma and Megan for earning their undergraduate degrees from UofSC!!! - Tancia (virtually) and Chad (in-person) presented their work at Fly Meeting (63rd Annual Drosophila Research Conference) - Esha was awarded funding through the Magellan Scholar Program to support her independent research |

- The Armstrong Lab received Pilot Project funding from the NIH through the COBRE of Dietary Supplements and Inflammation headed by Drs. Mitzi and Prakash Nagarkatti
- Our review, "Drosophila melanogaster as a model for nutrient regulation of ovarian function", was published in the journal Reproduction (DOI: 10.1530/REP-18-0593)
- Alexandra Tamura won a first place poster award at Discover USC 2019 #DiscoverUSC2019
